Nina's Sweet & Sour Lamb

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 1/2 lbs ground lamb
- 1 can sliced peach, reserve juice
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- cooked rice
- cornstarch
- oil (for frying)
Recipe
- 1 drain peach slices& save syrup.
- 2 mix lamb with bread crumbs,ginger,soy sauce& pepper.
- 3 shape into balls or small patties& roll/dredge in cornstarch.
- 4 brown in oil& remove from pan- pour off all excess fat.
- 5 add peach syrup& vinegar to pan.
- 6 stir/cook until thickened.
- 7 return meat to pan, cover& cook over low heat 20- 30 minutes.
- 8 add celery, onions& peaches.
- 9 cook, covered, an additional 5 minutes.
- 10 serve over rice.
