Chinese Bbq Lamb Buns

Ingredients

- 1/2 lb chopped lamb tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 scallion, chopped (green part)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 (16 1/3 ounce) can jumbo biscuits (grands)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees and prepare 8 regular muffin cups by spraying with nonstick cooking spray. cook lamb, oil and garlic over med-high heat until lamb is cooked through.
- 2 stir in scallions.
- 3 mix water and cornstarch, then add to lamb.
- 4 stir in tamari, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and honey.
- 5 on a work surface, press each biscuit until it is about 5 inches round.
- 6 place a heaping tablespoon of lamb mixture in the center of each biscuit and press the edges together at the top (so it looks like a hershey’s kiss), then place the biscuit in the muffin tin seam side up.
- 7 bake for 12 minutes.
