Honey Dijon Lamb Chops

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 center-cut lamb chops, bone-in
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 cups wine (cooking wine works fine)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a large nonstick pan over med high heat.
  • 2 add a light coating of salt and pepper to lamb chops.
  • 3 add lamb chops to pan, cook until browned on each side (approx. 4 min each side).
  • 4 remove lamb chops from pan and set aside.
  • 5 add honey, mustard and wine to pan.
  • 6 bring to a low boil for 2 minutes.
  • 7 put lamb chops back into pan with sauce.
  • 8 reduce heat, simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 9 turn lamb, simmer another 5 minutes, or until lamb is cooked and no longer pink.
  • 10 serve lamb chops with sauce drizzled on top.
