Mexican Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 boneless lamb chops
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups salsa
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine cumin, chili powder and garlic powder in a small bowl.
- 2 combine salsa, cocoa and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
- 3 rub spice mixture into both sides of lamb chops.
- 4 heat oil over medium heat and brown chops on both sides.
- 5 pour salsa mixture over lamb chops and bring to a simmer.
- 6 continue to simmer for about 30 minutes or until chops are tender.
