Norwegian Meat Balls

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mashed potatoes (can use instant)
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pint cream
- flour
- oil
Recipe
- 1 mix all ingredients except cream and form into balls.
- 2 roll balls in flour and fry in small amout of oil to brown on all sides.
- 3 put in large casserole and pour cream over.
- 4 cover and bake at 325 for 40 minutes.
- 5 serve immediately or pour into crockpot to hold.
- 6 can substitiute 1 can cream of mushroom soup or golden mushroom soup for half of cream.
