Ingredients

- 1/2 lb bacon, cut in chunks
- 2 lbs green beans, cut in halves
- 2 onions, quartered
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 lb new potato, peeled
Recipe
- 1 place bacon in large saucepan and cover with water; boil 20 minutes.
- 2 add green beans, onions, salt, sugar and cayenne; boil 15 minutes.
- 3 add potatoes; boil until potatoes are tender.
