No Fry Sweet And Sour

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb meat, lamb, chicken
- 8 ounces pineapple, canned chunked (drained, reserve juice)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup carrot, sliced (optional)
- 2 cups rice, cooked
Recipe
- 1 dice meat- chicken or lamb.
- 2 in a large pan, brown meat over a medium heat.
- 3 add carrots and cook to soften.
- 4 add garlic, onions and pepper
- 5 once all vegetables are softened to desire, add pineapple and reduce heat to keep warm.
- 6 in a sauce pan, add enough water to pineapple juice to equal 1 1/2 cup liquid, add cornstarch and mix.
- 7 add in sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. bring to boil to thicken.
- 8 pour over meat and vegetables.
- 9 serve over hot rice.
