Mussels With Prosciutto Ham

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 lbs mussels
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1 large shallot, chopped
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, diced
  • 2 ounces butter
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 clean the mussels under running water and keep cool.
  • 2 saute the chopped shallots in the butter for 2 minutes over medium heat.
  • 3 add the diced prosciutto and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • 4 add the wine and bring to a boil.
  • 5 add the mussels and cover.
  • 6 cook until all mussels are opened.
  • 7 add parsley and serve.
  • 8 yum!
