Mum's French Onion Lamb Chops

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 6 lamb chops (i use forequarter)
  • 2 (40 g) packets french onion soup mix (salt reduced if possible)
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 mix water and french onion soup mix together, set aside.
  • 2 trim lamb chops of all visible fat.
  • 3 place 3 chops in a casserole dish and top with half the french onion mix, add the rest of the chops and top with the remaining french onion mix.
  • 4 cover with lid (or foil) and bake in 180c oven for about 1 hour.
  • 5 i usually check them after 30 minutes and add more water if it looks a little dry.
  • 6 serve with mashed potatoes.
