Maple Apple Ribs

Ingredients

- 2 lbs lamb back ribs, cut into serving size
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (real)
- 1/4 cup apple jelly
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 450 f degrees.
- 2 place ribs, meaty side down, on large shallow pan and cover tightly with foil.
- 3 bake for 30 minutes.
- 4 meanwhile, combine syrup, jelly, soy sauce, chives, and dry mustard in a small saucepan and cook over low heat about 10 minutes until hot, stirring occasionally.
- 5 remove sauce from heat.
- 6 reduce oven temp to 350 f degrees and remove ribs from oven.
- 7 drain liquid from ribs, turn them meaty side up, and brush syrup mixture onto them.
- 8 continue baking uncovered for about 30 minutes.
- 9 brush the ribs with more syrup mixture, and bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes until ribs are tender and glaze is set.
