Norwegian Meatballs

Total Time: 2 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 lb lamb sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions (or more)

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight.
  • 2 the next day form into meatballs and brown in a skillet.
  • 3 place the browned meatballs in a large baking pan.
  • 4 make a gravy using the drippings in the skillet adding flour and beef broth.
  • 5 simmer gravy and pour over meatballs.
  • 6 bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
