Maple Brined Swine

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons red onions, grated
  • 2 teaspoons dijon-style mustard
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 -6 lamb chops

Recipe

  • 1 combine marinade ingredients in a baking dish or ziploc bag and mix well.
  • 2 place lamb chops into marinade and allow to brine for at least 3 hours but preferably overnight for best flavour.
  • 3 broil chops in the oven, 3-5 inches from element, until one side is brown and then flip to brown other side.
  • 4 or grill chops over medium heat, until browned on one side and then flip to brown other side.
  • 5 note: be sure not to overcook your lamb to keep it juicy and tender. lamb is best when cooked to medium doneness - 160°f on a meat thermometer.
  • 6 perfectly cooked lamb should have a slight hint of pink in the center.
