Maple Glazed Lamb Chops

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless center-cut lamb loin chops
  • kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth, canned

Recipe

  • 1 heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 2 dry the lamb chops well and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • 3 add the oil to the pan and heat
  • 4 add chops and brown each side.
  • 5 transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  • 6 pour off the excess oil from the pan.
  • 7 add the vinegar, and return the pan to the heat and use a wooden spoon to scrape up any brown bits that cling to the pan.
  • 8 stir in the mustard, maple syrup, and chicken broth, along with any juices from the lamb chops.
  • 9 cook over high heat until the mixture is syrupy, about 5 minutes.
  • 10 spoon over lamb chops or serve on the side.
