Pearl Meat Balls

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sweet rice (glutinous rice)
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sherry wine
- 2 tablespoons bisquick baking mix or 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 5 water chestnuts, chopped
Recipe
- 1 soak sweet rice overnight, drain and set aside.
- 2 mix ground lamb with onion, egg , soy sauce, salt, sherry, bisquick mix and water chestnuts.
- 3 form balls about 1 1/2" diameter.
- 4 roll balls in sweet rice until they are well covered.
- 5 place balls in steamer.
- 6 steam for 25 minutes.
- 7 serve hot.
- 8 note: prep time does not include soaking time for sweet rice.
