Apple Poached Lamb Chops

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 14 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops (loin work best, fat rind removed)
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour (corn starch)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Recipe

  • 1 in a deep fry pan (i use non-stick) sear/brown the lamb chops. this step keeps the chops from drying out and adds a lot of flavor to the final sauce.
  • 2 add in the apple juice.
  • 3 cook on a medium high heat for around 6 minutes each side (this depends on thte thickness of your lamb).
  • 4 once cooked remove thge lamb chops
  • 5 mix the flour and water together and add to the remaining juice.
  • 6 once thickened serve with the lamb chops.
