Indonesian Lamb Roast

Total Time: 6 hrs 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs boneless lamb roast
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter

Recipe

  • 1 combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, five spice and cayenne.
  • 2 place lamb roast in 3 1/2 -quart slow cooker.
  • 3 spoon spice mixture over top of roast.
  • 4 cover and cook on low heat setting 6 1/2 -7 hours or until lamb is tender.
  • 5 remove roast from slow cooker.
  • 6 stir peanut butter into juices until smooth.
  • 7 spoon sauce over sliced roast.
