Ham Balls With Hawaiian Punch Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/2 lb ground ham
  • 3/4 lb ground lamb
  • 2/3 cup quick oats
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 2/3 cup hawaiian punch drink
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1/3 cup dark corn syrup

Recipe

  • 1 ham balls: mix all ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls.
  • 2 put on baking sheet.
  • 3 bake 350* about 20 minutes.
  • 4 sauce: in a pan combine brown sugar,flour,and mustard mix well.
  • 5 add punch and vinegar mix well, add cloves and syrup.
  • 6 cook over medium heat stir constantly until thickened and becomes clear.
  • 7 place ham balls in a chafing dish or crock pot pour sauce over balls.
