Ham Balls With Sauce

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/4 lbs cooked ham, ground
  • 2/3 lb fresh ground lamb
  • 2/3 lb ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 cup cracker crumb
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 2 tablespoons green peppers, diced fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard

Recipe

  • 1 combine ham, lamb& beef.
  • 2 add eggs, tomato juice, crumbs, onion, green pepper& salt.
  • 3 shape into balls, (slightly larger than golf balls).
  • 4 place in a 9x13 baking dish.
  • 5 bake@ 350 for 1 hour.
  • 6 meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • 7 cook& stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • 8 pour over hamballs.
  • 9 bake 30-45 minutes longer.
