Norwegian Curried Lamb

Ingredients
- 3 lbs lamb, chunked
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- margarine for browning sauce
Recipe
- 1 coat meat with flour. saute garlic and onion in a small amount of margarine . heat more more margarine in a heavy skillet and brown meat on all sides. transfer to large pot. add sauteed onions and garlic to pot. season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. add 1 cup hot water and bring to a boil.add more water if necessary to cover meat. cover, and simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. check seasonings. it should be quite strong.
- 2 serve hot.
