Kitchen Kouture Stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 18 ounces mushrooms, fresh button
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 remove stems of the mushrooms. finely chop enough stems to equal 1/4 cup, and set aside.
  • 2 wipe mushroom caps clean with a damp paper towel. place caps on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • 3 in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heet. add garlic, green onion, and mushroom stems. cook until tender.
  • 4 stir in salt, cream cheese, & bacon. stiring till cream cheese melts.
  • 5 add in cheddar cheese. stiring well.
  • 6 remove from heat, cover, & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 7 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 8 spoon cream cheese mixture into mushroom caps.
  • 9 bake for 25 minutes.
