Kitchen Kouture Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 18 ounces mushrooms, fresh button
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 green onions, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 5 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Recipe
- 1 remove stems of the mushrooms. finely chop enough stems to equal 1/4 cup, and set aside.
- 2 wipe mushroom caps clean with a damp paper towel. place caps on a rimmed baking sheet.
- 3 in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heet. add garlic, green onion, and mushroom stems. cook until tender.
- 4 stir in salt, cream cheese, & bacon. stiring till cream cheese melts.
- 5 add in cheddar cheese. stiring well.
- 6 remove from heat, cover, & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 7 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 8 spoon cream cheese mixture into mushroom caps.
- 9 bake for 25 minutes.
