Oatmeal Lamb Chops - Skillet Or Grilled

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 3 boneless lamb chops, thin cut
  • 1 (35 g) packet instant apple and cinnamon oatmeal
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup 2% low-fat milk

Recipe

  • 1 grind oatmeal until it's a course powder.
  • 2 in a large mixing bowl combine the oatmeal with the allspice, nutmeg, and flour.
  • 3 in a small bowl combine the egg and milk.
  • 4 coat each lamb chop with the egg mixture and then a coating of oatmeal, set aside.
  • 5 in a large skillet cook the lamb chops on low for about 15 minutes or until done (internal temperature of 160).
