Oatmeal Lamb Chops - Skillet Or Grilled

Ingredients

- 3 boneless lamb chops, thin cut
- 1 (35 g) packet instant apple and cinnamon oatmeal
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (fresh)
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup 2% low-fat milk
Recipe
- 1 grind oatmeal until it's a course powder.
- 2 in a large mixing bowl combine the oatmeal with the allspice, nutmeg, and flour.
- 3 in a small bowl combine the egg and milk.
- 4 coat each lamb chop with the egg mixture and then a coating of oatmeal, set aside.
- 5 in a large skillet cook the lamb chops on low for about 15 minutes or until done (internal temperature of 160).
