Horseradish Meatballs

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl combine the meatball mixture, mix well.
  • 2 shape into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • 3 place in a greased 15 x 10 baking pan, bake uncovered at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until no longer pink.
  • 4 meanwhile in a large saucepan combine sauce ingredients.
