Kicked Up Slow Cooker Bbq Ribs

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 1/2-3 lbs lamb ribs (leave on the membrane to hold ribs together) 
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar 
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger 
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder 
- 1 teaspoon paprika 
- 1/2 teaspoon salt 
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper 
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 
- 1/4 cup honey 
- 3/4 cup water 
- 3 garlic cloves, minced 
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger 
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce 
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch 
- 1 tablespoon ketchup 
Recipe
- 1 combine rub ingredients in small bowl. 
- 2 rub on both sides of the ribs. 
- 3 because of the way the ribs are in the slow cooker. 
- 4 place the ribs inside the slow cooker and make sure they go around the outside of the slow cooker, meaty side out and wider edge down. 
- 5 to make the sauce:. 
- 6 mix all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat over medium high until boiling. pour over ribs, cover and cook on low for 6 hours. 
- 7 after 6 hours, remove ribs (meaty side down) and place them on a foil lined baking sheet. tent with foil. 
- 8 strain the juices left in the slow cooker into a small saucepan. 
- 9 let the sauce sit for about 5 minutes and then skim off as much fat as you can. 
- 10 bring the remaining liquid to a boil and reduce over medium heat until it reduces by 50% (10-15 minutes). 
- 11 brush ribs with sauce and place 10 inches below boiler (lower-middle rack) and broil on high for 3 minutes. 
- 12 remove from oven, carefully flip, and brush meaty side liberally with sauce. 
- 13 put under broiler for 9 minutes, removing every 2 or 3 minutes to baste with more sauce.
