Mushroom Topped Lamb Chops

Total Time: 46 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 16 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 -6 lamb chops, boneless,3/4 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup finely chopped mushroom
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 2 -3 tablespoons cheddar cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 place lamb chops in a microsafe dish.
  • 2 prepare topping: in a microsafe dish,place chopped mushrooms and dot with butter.
  • 3 microwave at high for 3 minutes until mushrooms don't look raw.
  • 4 drain.
  • 5 let cool.
  • 6 mix together mushrooms, parsley, onion, egg and salt and pepper.
  • 7 place topping on lamb chops.
  • 8 microwave at medium high power for 6 minutes, uncovered.
  • 9 let rest for 5 minutes.
  • 10 uncover and microwave at medium high power for another 4 minutes.
  • 11 sprinkle with cheese.
  • 12 microwave at high power for 3 to 4 minutes until cheese is melted and chops are done to your liking.
