Kalua Pua'a (roast Lamb)

Ingredients
- 3 lbs lamb butt
- 3 tablespoons hawaiian salt or 3 tablespoons sea salt
- ti leaves
- 1/2 gal. water
Recipe
- 1 rinse lamb with cold water and place in a medium roasting pan. rub hawaiian salt on lamb and add water. cover lamb with ti leaves and cover roasting pan with foil. bake at 350* for 2-3 hours, or until meat is soft. remove foil and ti leaves, debone and shred lamb; add more salt if needed for taste.
