Italian Meatballs Like Mother Makes

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • salt
  • olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 prepare the meat balls. place breadcrumbs in a large bowl. add milk to moisten set aside.
  • 2 combine shallot and parsley in a food processor. pulse mixture in finely chopped add breadcrumbs, along with beef, lamb eggs, garlic power, and cheese season with salt + pepper using your hands mix well until well combine light coat hand with olive oil roll meat mixture into 1 -inch ball.
  • 3 cook meat balls in tomato sauce for 15 minutes.
