Kofta Meatballs - Lamb

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons grated garlic
- 3 fresh green chilies
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 ounces fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 6 mint leaves, chopped
- 1 medium potato, grated
- oil (for deep frying)
Recipe
- 1 place all of the ingredients except for the oil, in a large bowl and mix to a dough.
- 2 divide the mixture and form into balls the size of golf balls.
- 3 in a deep pan heat the oil and fry the balls till golden.
- 4 drain on kitchen paper and serve them hot.
