Maple Lamb

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons molasses
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 lb lean lamb, fat trimmed off (3 pieces of loin)
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 9 ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  • 2 transfer to a ziploc bag, and marinate lamb overnight.
  • 3 drain lamb, salt to taste, and barbecue until done (about 5-6 minutes per side). serve.
