Mini Bacon-wrapped Loaves For 2

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tiny egg
  • 1/2 ounce onion, chopped
  • 1/2 ounce green pepper, chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon low-sodium beef bouillon cube
  • 2 slices bacon, thinly sliced and cut in half
  • 1 ounce cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 ounce dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 fluid ounce bottled water
  • 1 dash salt

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oven to 350f degrees.
  • 2 mix all of the ingredients, except the bacon, together, and shape the mixture into 2 small loaves.
  • 3 crisscross 2 of the half slices of bacon across each loaf, tucking the ends under each loaf.
  • 4 place the loaves on a rack in a shallow baking pan and bake uncovered for 50 minutes.
  • 5 let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
