Ninja 3-1: Citrus Marinated Lamb Chops

Total Time: 6 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 8 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 8 slices orange zest
  • 8 slices lemon zest
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 boneless lamb chops, 3/5 inch thick

Recipe

  • 1 stir broth, oil, juice, garlic, zest, rosemary, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. reserve half the broth mixture.
  • 2 pour remaining mixture into a resealable gallon size plastic bag.
  • 3 add lamb and turn to coat.
  • 4 seal bag and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • 5 remove lamb from marinade. discard marinade.
  • 6 set pot to stovetop high.
  • 7 add lamb to pot in batches.
  • 8 cook uncovered 5 minutes or until lamb is lighly browned on both sides.
  • 9 pour reserved broth mixture over lamb.
  • 10 set to slow cook high for 4-5 hours.
  • 11 cobver and cook until lamb is tender.
