Peppery Garlic Chops

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless center cut lamb chops (1 1/2 inch-thick)
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coarse ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 3 -4 tablespoons olive oil, plus about
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for your skillet

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in a large self-sealing plastic bag. (large enough to hold chops). marinate chops in the garlic pepper mixture for about 30 minutes.
  • 2 heat cast iron skillet (or heavy skillet with enough olive oil to just coat the pan.
  • 3 remove lamb from the marinade and place into skillet. cook for about 20 to 30 minutes, until the lamb is fully cooked and the outsides are browned.
  • 4 baste with marinade during cooking, if desired.
