Hill Country Ribs

Total Time: 6 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs country-style lamb ribs, cut into individual ribs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup prepared barbecue sauce

Recipe

  • 1 position broiler rack 6 inches from heat source. preheat broiler. broil the ribs, turning once, until browned, about 10 minutes. transfer the ribs to a slow cooker. add onion, garlic, and bbq sauce and stir to coat the ribs with the sauce. cover and slow cook until the ribs are tender, 5 to 6 hours on low. to thicken the sauce, skim the fat from the surface, pour into a medium saucepan, and simmer until reduced to about 1 cup.
