Italian Style Meatballs

Total Time: 42 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 22 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 93% lean ground beef
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup egg beaters egg substitute
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cup 1% low-fat milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425.
  • 2 mix all ingredients by hand, careful not to overmix or make meat too dense.
  • 3 form into walnut sized balls and place onto cookie sheet.
  • 4 bake 10-12 minutes till done.
  • 5 drop into spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
