Joan's Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 lamb chops
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 tablespoons broth (chicken or beef)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons water
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in skillet.
- 2 brown lamb chops on both sides.
- 3 remove and add a little more oil if needed.
- 4 saute garlic for 1 minute.
- 5 in a small bowl mix, oil, broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
- 6 put chops back in skillet.
- 7 pour sauce over them.
- 8 cover tightly.
- 9 simmer over low heat for 30-35 minutes (add 1-2 t of water if needed and turn once).
- 10 remove chops (keep warm).
- 11 stir in cornstarch that was dissolved in the water.
- 12 cook until thickened.
- 13 serve a little sauce over the lamb chops.
