Joan's Lamb Chops

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb chops
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 minced clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 tablespoons broth (chicken or beef)
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons water

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in skillet.
  • 2 brown lamb chops on both sides.
  • 3 remove and add a little more oil if needed.
  • 4 saute garlic for 1 minute.
  • 5 in a small bowl mix, oil, broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
  • 6 put chops back in skillet.
  • 7 pour sauce over them.
  • 8 cover tightly.
  • 9 simmer over low heat for 30-35 minutes (add 1-2 t of water if needed and turn once).
  • 10 remove chops (keep warm).
  • 11 stir in cornstarch that was dissolved in the water.
  • 12 cook until thickened.
  • 13 serve a little sauce over the lamb chops.
