Maple Lamb Chops

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb chops (i use lean, boneless lamb chops)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (use real maple syrup only)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 limes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine oil, maple syrup, garlic, thyme, and juice and grated peel from limes; add lamb chops.
  • 2 marinate lamb chops for 1 hour or more in fridge.
  • 3 drain lamb chops, reserving marinade.
  • 4 in a large skillet, brown lamb chops on both sides.
  • 5 reduce heat; cover and continue cooking 5 minutes.
  • 6 add marinade and cook 2-3 minutes longer.
  • 7 add salt and pepper to taste.
