Maple Lamb Chops

Ingredients

- 4 lamb chops (i use lean, boneless lamb chops)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup (use real maple syrup only)
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 limes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine oil, maple syrup, garlic, thyme, and juice and grated peel from limes; add lamb chops.
- 2 marinate lamb chops for 1 hour or more in fridge.
- 3 drain lamb chops, reserving marinade.
- 4 in a large skillet, brown lamb chops on both sides.
- 5 reduce heat; cover and continue cooking 5 minutes.
- 6 add marinade and cook 2-3 minutes longer.
- 7 add salt and pepper to taste.
