Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 (12 ounce) jar beef gravy
- 1/2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground lamb, caraway seed, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; mix well and form into 6 equal-sized patties.
- 2 place the bread crumbs in a shallow dish and coat the patties evenly.
- 3 in a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until the juices run clear and no pink remains.
- 4 remove to a platter and cover to keep warm.
