Italian Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 lb 85% lean ground beef, 85/15
- 1/2 lb ground lamb
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
- 6 ounces fine breadcrumbs, preferably italian seasoned
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup asiago cheese, finely shredded
- all-purpose flour
- salt
- pepper
- olive oil
Recipe
- 1 place beef and lamb into a large bowl.
- 2 add garlic, breadcrumbs, asiago, and salt and pepper to taste.
- 3 pour beaten egg over mixture and and then gently mix with your hands until well covered/mixed.
- 4 form 1 1/2 in balls by gently rolling in your palms.
- 5 lay on cookie sheet.
- 6 lightly dust with all-purpose flour.
- 7 fry in about 1/4 in of olive oil, gently turning. brown on all sides.
- 8 add to your favorite marinara sauce and simmer for thirty minutes!
